IRS Announces Tax Season Start
The Internal Revenue Service has announced that the upcoming tax season will start on Friday, February 12, 2021, when the tax agency will begin accepting and processing 2020 tax year income tax returns. Our office will prepare tax returns prior to this date and be prepared to e-file them.
Your Gas Receipts are Valuable, and a SC CPA Has Created an App to Track Them:
Brett Snell, a SC CPA, has created an app to track the gasoline purchases and auto maintenance costs that are required to claim SC’s Motor Fuel Income Tax Credit, SC Gas Tax Credit app.
The app costs $4.99 on Google Play (Android) and the Apple Store (iPhones). A South Carolina taxpayer can claim the credit for up to two vehicles, and the app can keep track of receipts for a pair of vehicles. Please don’t miss out on this valuable credit.
